John Carroll's Seth Goldberg captures 100th win, MSADA honor
John Carroll AD and the President of the MIAA Executive Committee finds success on and off the court
Last week was a big one for John Carroll athletic director and boys' head basketball coach Seth Goldberg, as he reached a significant coaching milestone and received a major award all in the same week.
Goldberg, who also currently serves as the President of the MIAA's Executive Committee, won his 100th game as head coach at John Carroll, on Friday, with a 59-46 victory over Calvert Hall. It was the 295th victory of his high school coaching after winning 195 times as the head coach of St. Paul's School.
Now in his seventh year at John Carroll, Goldberg also has had a highly successful tenure as the school's athletic director, overseeing great success by many of the school's athletic programs and major improvements to the Bel Air school's athletic facilities.
Recently, Goldberg was recognized by his peers in the Maryland State Athletic Directors Association (MSADA) when he was named Dictrict 11 Athletic Director of the Year. District 11 is the designated area of the MIAA.
Congratulations Coach Goldberg!
