Meg Decker is Annapolis Area Christian School's new Athletic Director
Decker brings a track record as a program builder and highly successful coach
Earlier this year, Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS) tapped Meg Decker as the school’s new Athletic Director.
Decker brings a rich lacrosse pedigree to AACS. She played collegiately on the inaugural women’s team at Navy before finishing her career at Loyola University Maryland, where she was a two-time All‑Big East selection and helped lead her squad to a historic 17‑win season, a conference championship, and an NCAA quarterfinal appearance.
As a coach, she built Hartford’s women’s lacrosse program from scratch, led Xavier’s team from 2021 until stepping down in April 2025, and held an assistant coaching stint at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Her track record also includes significant emphasis on academic excellence—nearly 90 percent of Hartford players earned Honor Roll status, with the majority achieving at least a 3.5 GPA.
AACS looks to Decker to build and sustain a winning tradition on the field, as she oversees the school’s entire athletic department.
A native of Maryland and a Mount de Sales Academy graduate, Decker combines local roots with national-level experience. Her leadership is expected to elevate athletic performance and reinforce the school’s motto of fostering Christ-centered character alongside competitive excellence.
